Work Experience Information
Year 10 work experience will be taking place on 16th June 2025.
If required, your child may work on Saturday 21st June, but should have a day off in lieu during the week.
Students are expected to find their own work experience placements and are advised to ask friends and family and to enquire with businesses in their local area.
They will need the name and email address of the person offering them a placement.
The placement then needs to be added to the placements tool on Unifrog. Please click on the links at the bottom of this page for guidance on how to do this.
If your child is unable to find a placement, please contact Miss Waites via the school office.

WORK EXPERIENCE FEEDBACK
Year 10 students last completed work experience in June 2019, and we had a lot of positive feedback about the students during their time at their placements.
Below is some of the positive feedback we have had:
He was very determined to learn more about the business world and worked so hard on the tasks I gave him to do.
He is polite, courteous, works on his own initiative, is on time. We are truly impressed.
She was on-time, polite, and had a good working ethic, nothing was too much trouble, and she was happy to get involved in any way that she can.
All of the students are doing your school proud and have been a pleasure to have around.’
He has surpassed our expectations in all areas and his presence in the class has genuinely been a significant help
He has been a credit to your school this week. He has been on time, polite, helpful and proactive with all tasks that have been passed his way and to be honest, we would have struggled this week without him!
You really have excellent students and should be proud of your dedication in making sure that they have a bright future.’
