How to Apply

Our application process begins with our Open Evening in September. Students then register their details with us and will be given further details about how to apply via the Applica system.

After your formal application via our online system, applications are processed and all students who have applied to Sixth Form are invited to an informal post-application discussion/interview in February/March. The purpose of the discussion is to ensure that each student has chosen a programme which matches their ability, career aspirations and learning styles.

Once the GCSE results have been released in August, we hold a results service where students who need to or wish to change their programme based on their exam results can do so.

How to apply:

1. Start by viewing our prospectus and introductory video.

Click here to view the Sixth Form Prospectus.

If you were not able to attend our Open Evening, you might like to contact the Sixth Form Office to book a tour of our Sixth Form.

2. View the page Choosing your programme to see a summary of the courses you can do and note down the course titles of your provisional subject choices.

3. Complete your application via the Applica website (link to be added).

4. If you are applying to join our Basketball or Dance Academies, please read the extra information and ensure that you complete any additional applications needed. You are welcome to contact the school first to find out more about the standard required for these programmes or the level of commitment that will be needed.

APPLYING FROM ABROAD

In recent years, we have had a number of students apply to Copleston Sixth Form who have completed their education in different countries. In order for us to understand your academic profile and qualifications, students are asked to complete a Statement of Comparability application through the ENIC. Further information can be found here: https://www.enic.org.uk/Qualifications/SOC/Default.aspx
