What other resources do we recommend to students?

Other useful sources of revision materials are shown below but remember they may use different example and make sure you have selected information relevant to the AQA specification

Tutor2u has a variety of written and interactive resources by topic area or style

Physics and Math Tutor has great sets of notes for students who feel they need more detail in their revision. They also have keyword flashcards and video clips to help.

What does revision in this subject look like?

You should be using a range of techniques:
Flash cards - can used in a range of ways to test knowledge so consider how you might more effectively use them. Especially keywords. I have made some PP with potential flashcard questions which are on the geography revision site.
Knowledge Organisers – Remember they are designed as a revision tool so annotate them; highlight, underline and stick post-its all over them. Use them to help you compile your flash cards as well.
Brain-dumps – They allow you see what you understand without worrying about applying it to a question – you can then use your revision guide or knowledge organisers to fill in the gaps.
Model Answers – these are not just tools to use in class but allow to develop your understanding of structure and subject specific vocabulary at home.
Past paper questions - You have booklets with exam questions in them sorted by topic – we are using these in lesson, but you can also use them at home. Chose the questions which are most challenging and have a go – if you struggle then this is a topic to revise!
